Virgin Voyages just released the full lineup for its 2027 Valentine’s Day Caribbean voyages — and for the first time, all four Lady Ships are sailing themed Valentine’s-week cruises with romantic dining, onboard gifts, and special events built specifically around the holiday.

If you’ve been hunting for an adults-only Caribbean Valentine’s escape that isn’t a beach resort, this is the most coordinated romantic cruise calendar Virgin Voyages has ever put together. Three of these sailings also tie into the rare Sisters at Sea fleet convergence on February 16, 2027 — so couples on board for Valentine’s week will also witness all four Virgin ships meeting at one point in the Caribbean.

A Quick Refresher on Virgin Voyages in the Caribbean

Virgin Voyages is strictly adults-only — every sailor is 18 or older, which makes it a natural choice for couples, honeymooners, and anyone looking for a kid-free vacation. The line operates four ships: Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady, and Brilliant Lady. For 2026 and 2027, all four are running Caribbean itineraries from Miami and San Juan, with most sailings ending at The Beach Club at Bimini — Virgin’s private beach club in the Bahamas. Tips, Wi-Fi, group fitness classes, and all dining (including specialty restaurants) are included in the base fare, which is unusual for a mainstream cruise line.

The Four Valentine’s Day 2027 Caribbean Sailings

Here is how the four ships break down, in order of departure:

Brilliant Lady — 10-Night Eastern Caribbean (Feb. 8, 2027)

The longest Valentine’s voyage of the four. Brilliant Lady departs Miami on February 8 and runs 10 nights, calling at Philipsburg (St. Maarten), Tortola, St. Croix, San Juan, Puerto Plata, and finishing at The Beach Club at Bimini. This is the deepest Eastern Caribbean route in the lineup and the best pick for couples who want a longer, multi-island vacation that lands them at home in Bimini for the last full day. This sailing is also part of the Sisters at Sea event on February 16.

Scarlet Lady — 4-Night Key West & Bimini (Feb. 11, 2027)

The shortest and easiest Valentine’s option. Scarlet Lady leaves Miami on February 11 for a 4-night sailing to Key West and The Beach Club at Bimini before returning to Miami. For couples who can’t take a full week off — or who want to add a Virgin Voyages cruise to a longer Florida trip — this is the entry point. It is also the only Valentine’s voyage in the lineup that is NOT part of Sisters at Sea, so the ship will feel quieter and more intimate.

Valiant Lady — 7-Night Southern Caribbean from San Juan (Feb. 13, 2027)

Valiant Lady departs San Juan on February 13 for a 7-night Southern Caribbean run, calling at Samaná (Dominican Republic), Grand Turk, and Cabo Rojo before returning to San Juan. This is the only Valentine’s voyage out of San Juan, which means a shorter sail time to the islands and more time in port. Valiant Lady is also the only ship in the fleet exclusively dedicated to Caribbean sailings. This sailing is part of Sisters at Sea.

Resilient Lady — 7-Night Eastern Caribbean from Miami (Feb. 14, 2027)

The actual Valentine’s Day departure. Resilient Lady leaves Miami on February 14, sails 7 nights to Freeport, Progreso, and The Beach Club at Bimini. If you want to be boarding the ship ON Valentine’s Day with a champagne sail-away, this is the one. It is also part of Sisters at Sea, so you’ll be at the convergence point on February 16.

What’s Actually Different About a Valentine’s Voyage

Virgin Voyages has confirmed each Valentine’s sailing includes themed onboard programming, not just a generic cruise during Valentine’s week. Confirmed touches include:

  • Valentine’s-themed activities and ship-wide events
  • Special desserts and menu items in select venues
  • Romantic décor and styling throughout the ship
  • Seasonal cocktails and themed dining moments
  • Possible surprise keepsakes — past Valentine’s sailors received a knot key ring and a heart-shaped cookie

All onboard dining is already included in the fare on Virgin Voyages, including the specialty restaurants — so a Valentine’s dinner at Pink Agave (Mexican), Test Kitchen (tasting menu), or Wake (steak and seafood with ocean views) does not cost extra.

Virgin Voyages vs. a Sandals Valentine’s Escape

For couples weighing a Virgin Voyages Valentine’s cruise against a land-based Sandals Valentine’s getaway, the comparison comes down to format. A Sandals resort gives you one location, one beach, and a fixed all-inclusive experience — perfect if you want to settle in, decompress, and not move. A Virgin Voyages Caribbean sailing trades that for a different island every day or two, an adults-only ship, and Bimini Beach Club as the cherry on top.

Both are 100% adults-only. Both include drinks (Virgin includes most cocktails and wines by the glass; Sandals includes premium liquor). Both excel at couples experiences. The right pick depends on whether you want to “stay” or “sail.”
