- Club Med St. Croix opened reservations on November 5, 2026 and is scheduled to welcome its first guests on November 12, 2027.
- 150 suites, every one oceanfront or ocean-view. The standard suite is 484 square feet.
- Early booking rates start at $365 per person, per night. That is $730 a night for two, or about $5,110 for a week before flights.
- Guests must be 12 or older, and U.S. citizens flying from the mainland do not need a passport.

If you have wanted a Caribbean all-inclusive without the passport line, you have a new one to look at. Club Med St. Croix started taking reservations on November 5, 2026 for an opening set for November 12, 2027: 150 suites on Davis Bay in the U.S. Virgin Islands, with early booking rates from $365 per person, per night.
What is Club Med St. Croix, and when does it open?
It is a rebuild of the Carambola Beach Resort, which Laurance Rockefeller built in 1986 on the island’s northwest coast, between a crescent beach and rainforest hills. Club Med says the redevelopment will preserve the property’s architectural heritage while bringing in new Caribbean-inspired design. The resort joins the brand’s Exclusive Collection, its top tier, as the second one in North America, and the company is calling it a return to U.S. shores. The first guests are due November 12, 2027.
Here is what Club Med’s release and resort page list as of November 6, 2026:
- Dining: three restaurants. A market-style main restaurant, the Gourmet Club with a fish-and-grill dinner menu, and a sushi and teppanyaki room that is dinner-only and by reservation. It is Club Med’s first teppanyaki grill.
- Bars: four bars and lounges, including an adults-only bar and a wine cellar with rum tastings.
- Pools: an infinity-edge main pool and a separate Zen Pool for guests 18 and older.
- Included activities: 19 of them, including pickleball, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding and yoga.
- Extra cost: spa treatments and excursions. The spa has three thermal baths, a sauna and a hammam.
- Getting there: 25 minutes from St. Croix’s Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX).

What are the suites, and what does it cost?
Every room is a suite and every suite faces the sea. Club Med’s booking page lists six categories built from three layouts, either Sea Front (on the beach) or Sea View:
| Suite | Size | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|
| Suite | 484 sq ft | 2 |
| Family Suite | 484 sq ft, with a living area | 3 |
| Interconnecting Family Suites | 969 sq ft, two bedrooms and two baths | 6 |
The $365 is a “from” rate. Club Med has not said which suite or which weeks it applies to, so treat it as the floor. For two people that floor is $730 a night and about $5,110 for seven nights, before airfare.
How does that stack up? This week’s Sandals 777 suites run $323 to $691 per person, per night before other offers, as shown on Pixie Vacations on November 6, 2026. The $323 is a one-bedroom butler villa suite at Sandals Jamaica Ocho Rios.

What is the catch with booking this early?
You are booking renderings. The resort is still being redeveloped, and opening dates for rebuilt resorts can move. The good news is in Club Med’s cancellation policy: on its flexible rate there is no cancellation charge 61 or more days before departure (91 or more for holiday weeks), apart from its membership fee. The non-refundable rate is exactly that, so skip it for an opening-season trip.
You cannot buy the flights yet. Most U.S. airlines sell seats about 11 months ahead, so mid-November 2027 flights will not load until around mid-December 2026. St. Croix has nonstops on American from Miami and Charlotte, seasonal Delta service from Atlanta, and United’s Saturday flight from Newark, which started October 31, 2026. I tell big families to let airfare help pick the island, because part of the vacation is getting there.
November 12 is still hurricane season, which runs June 1 to November 30. Club Med’s Hurricane Protection Program gives a future travel certificate for nights hit by hurricane-force winds. It does not pay cash. My hurricane-season play is Sandals Curaçao, because the ABC islands sit outside the hurricane belt.
It is small. Three restaurants is a short list next to the 23 at Beaches Turks and Caicos. If a different dinner every night is your vacation, that matters. If a sea view from every suite and 150 keys instead of 858 is your vacation, it is a feature.
What this means if you’re booking
- Want opening season? Book the flexible rate now, wait for airline schedules in mid-December 2026 or later, and keep the airfare changeable.
- Pick by who is traveling. Teens 12 to 17 or no passports: this is your new option. Kids under 12: Beaches. Adults only: Sandals, where the Black Friday sale runs through December 1, 2026.
- Price it per couple, per week, with flights. I hate wasting money, but time is money too. You only get so many vacation days, so pay for the fit and not for the newest thing.
