Quick answer: Two families of four travelling together to Beaches Turks & Caicos have four realistic room configurations, and they are not equally priced. The cheapest per person is almost always a single multi-bedroom suite — the French Village 3 Bedroom Concierge Suite (room code F3) sleeps up to 14 and the Italian Village 2 Bedroom Butler Family Suite (G2) sleeps up to 12 — because Beaches prices per adult per night with a separate, much lower child rate, so consolidating eight people under one suite removes duplicate adult-occupancy charges. Two separate standard rooms is usually the most expensive way to house eight people, not the cheapest. Book both families on one reservation, not two.
The question nobody actually answers
Every few weeks a version of this thread appears on a travel forum. Two families want to go somewhere together. Eight people, usually four adults and four kids. A budget ceiling — often around $1,000 a night for the whole group. Someone suggests Beaches. Someone else says Beaches is way out of that range. The thread dies, and the family books something else.
What nobody in that thread does is run the numbers, because running the numbers requires knowing something the Beaches website does not make obvious: Beaches does not price by the room. It prices by the person.
Once you understand that one structural fact, the entire multi-family question flips. The instinct that “two families need two rooms, so it’s double” is wrong, and it is the reason so many groups walk away from a resort that would have worked.
I want to be honest about what this article can and cannot give you. I can give you the room configurations, the actual occupancy caps, the room codes, and the structure of the pricing — assembled in one place, which as far as I can tell has not been done anywhere. I cannot give you a nightly rate that will still be accurate next week, because Beaches rates move daily by date, category and promotion. Anyone publishing a fixed “Beaches costs $X a night” number is either quoting a stale screenshot or guessing.
A note from travelling this way myself
The first time my family did a multi-family Caribbean trip, I made the mistake I now spend my working life talking people out of. We booked our rooms, the other family booked theirs, both on the same day, both at the same resort. We assumed the resort would put us near each other. Beaches Turks & Caicos is spread across six themed villages — Caribbean, French, Italian, Key West, Seaside and the newer Treasure Beach — and two unlinked reservations can land in two of them, a genuine walk apart with kids and beach bags in tow.
It worked out. But the kids spent the first morning of the trip negotiating meeting points instead of getting in the water, and the fix would have taken one phone call at booking. That is the entire reason this article exists.

Read that table for a minute and two things jump out that contradict what most people assume.
More bedrooms does not mean more people. The Key West 4 Bedroom Butler Villa Residence caps at 10. The French Village 3 Bedroom Concierge Suite caps at 14. Four bedrooms sleeps fewer than three bedrooms. If you are shopping by bedroom count, you will talk yourself out of the room that actually fits you.
A two-bedroom suite is not automatically an eight-person suite. The Key West 2 Bedroom Concierge Suite (G2B) sleeps six. The Italian Village 2 Bedroom Butler Family Suite (G2) sleeps twelve. Same bedroom count, double the capacity, different villages. “Two-bedroom” tells you almost nothing on its own.

Configuration 4 is where most groups start and it is usually the worst outcome. Configuration 1 is where the money is, and it is the one the website’s filters surface least often.
Seven things I would tell you on the phone that are not in the top-ranking articles
1. Give the room code, not the room name. “The two-bedroom in Italian Village” produces a five-minute conversation. “G2” produces an answer. The codes in the table above are the resort’s own inventory codes and they cut through the ambiguity instantly — particularly useful because several room names repeat across villages.
2. One reservation, not two. If the two families book separately, even on the same day, there is no reservation-level link telling the resort to place you together. Booking as one party is what creates that link. This is the single highest-value thing in this article and it costs nothing.
3. The child rate is the whole ballgame. Beaches quotes an adult rate per night and a separate child rate that is a fraction of it. That is why eight people are not double four people. It is also why the cheapest configuration is usually the one with the fewest adults occupying separate units, not the fewest people.
4. Check what “free” covers before you count it as value. The current Beaches Endless Summer Sale, opened August 7, 2026, includes a complimentary Island Routes catamaran cruise — for up to four guests. For a party of eight that is half a free excursion. The air credit on that same sale runs up to $750 on eligible stays of five nights or longer for travel through August 3, 2027, and the instant credit runs up to $1,000. Read the guest counts, not just the dollar signs.
5. Beaches has two resorts right now, not three. Beaches Ocho Rios closed permanently on May 31, 2025. A meaningful share of the comparison articles and forum answers still in circulation price against a resort that no longer takes bookings. If a source lists three Beaches Jamaica options, stop reading it.
6. Holiday week has minimum-stay rules that break budgets built on five nights. If you are pricing a Dec 19–24 window because that is what school allows, confirm the minimum-night requirement for those dates before you build a budget around five nights. Groups routinely price a five-night holiday stay, fall in love with the number, and then discover the dates require more.
7. The village decides the trip more than the room does. Key West is the quietest. Italian has the largest concentration of high-occupancy family suites. French Village holds the single biggest suite on property. With kids of mixed ages, proximity to the Pirates Island waterpark and to the kids’ camps matters more day-to-day than the thread count. What about Beaches Negril instead?
For a party of eight on a firm budget, Negril deserves a serious look. It is the smaller, calmer, more walkable of the two Beaches resorts, it sits on Seven Mile Beach, and it generally prices below Turks & Caicos — with shorter and cheaper flights from most US cities into Montego Bay.
