And, it is 56 miles away from the airport. 

I had the chance to check it out shortly after their renovations, and surely, it feels like a brand new place! The thing I like the best is the beachfront Skypool Suites. Just imagine chilling in your own private infinity pool while enjoying that ocean view – it is absolute bliss! And if you are feeling extra fancy, the Rondoval private villas come with a hot tub, rooftop terrace, and swim-up pool, perfect for those extra relaxing and romantic starlit dinners.

When it comes to the pools, the main infinity pool is something you will fall in love with. With its stunning glass walls right up against the beach, I believe it is one of the best pools across all the Sandals Resorts in Jamaica. You will definitely want to spend some time lounging poolside there.

Activities are definitely not excluded from this resort. Golf enthusiasts will be thrilled! Sandals Dunn’s River offers free greens fees at the nearby Upton Estate Golf Club, which has an 18-hole course, plus a restaurant for a post-game bite. If you are keen on golf, you will not miss out on it even during vacation. Plus, you might meet some other golf fans as well and expand your connections!

Sandals Royal Plantation – Ocho Rios, Jamaica

This all-inclusive Sandals Resort is a total gem! When I talk about Sandals Royal Plantation, picture an intimate boutique resort with just 74 luxurious suites, each offering stunning ocean views. Just imagine waking up to such beauty every day for a week or two! Pretty amazing, right?

The resort is situated in the lush greenery of Ocho Rios, 62 miles away from the airport, and the vibe here is all about exclusivity and relaxation. Besides the natural beauty and chill ambiance, what really sets Sandals Royal Plantation apart is the all-butler service. Every room comes with its very own butler, ready to pamper you and make your stay unforgettable.

In addition, if you are a golf lover, you will be thrilled to know that you can hit the Upton Estate Golf Club nearby. You can also just chill in either of the two pools or enjoy different kinds of food in the five restaurants at your disposal.

Just a heads up, since this is the smallest Sandals Resort in Jamaica, guests from the other Sandals resorts cannot visit it. But if you are lucky enough to stay at Royal Plantation, you will have full access to the nearby Sandals Ochi and Sandals Dunn’s River. Sandals Montego Bay – Montego Bay, Jamaica 

When you think of Sandals, Montego Bay is often the first place that pops into mind, and it is easy to see why – it is the original Sandals Resort! Even though it has been around for a while, recent renovations have brought in all the modern touches you would expect from an extraordinary 5-star all-inclusive Sandals Resort.

As soon as I stepped inside, I was greeted by a stunning view straight out to the shimmering Caribbean Sea, and it instantly set the mood for an amazing vacation. Located along Jamaica’s largest white sand beach on the north coast, just 5 miles from the airport, the tropical vibes are simply irresistible. The mix of luxury and fun right by the coastline really hits the sweet spot.

One of my favorite things about Sandals Montego Bay is their “Stay At One, Play At Two” program. It lets you enjoy all the fabulous amenities at the nearby Sandals Royal Caribbean without any extra charge. It honestly feels like you are getting two vacations for the price of one!

And when it comes to nightlife, Sandals Montego Bay really takes it to a different level. In fact, there is no other resort in Jamaica that can compete! There is always something happening. Whether it is live music, beach parties, or captivating fire dancers, this resort provides its guests with the ultimate experience. Plus, the lively party scene in downtown Montego Bay is just a short distance away!

• It is really close to the airport, so you will not need to spend a lot of time on transfers. This means that your vacation can start a few minutes after you land. 
• It is an all-inclusive experience, and there is no need to tip, so once you book your stay, you are all set!
• This resort is adults-only, making it perfect for a romantic getaway since families and kids are not allowed.

Sandals Ochi – Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Sandals Ochi in Ocho Rios has a really active vibe and is situated just 62 miles from the airport. The prices are not as high as in other Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, and you get plenty of space with 519 rooms to choose from!

What I absolutely love about this all-inclusive Sandals Resort is the perfect mix of a vibrant Caribbean beach atmosphere and stunning gardens. Namely, there are over 100 acres of lush greenery, so you can really reconnect with nature there! 

Moreover, those who love relaxing at the beach need to check out the Ochi Beach Club – it is definitely one of the top beach spots in Jamaica. And for a touch of luxury, the beautiful gardens are complemented with cozy hideaways and private villas, meaning you will really experience your vacation at a different level. 

However, that is not all! Ocho Rios has a lively nightlife scene too! There are tons of clubs where you can enjoy live music and beach parties that last until 4:00 AM. So, if you want to experience the party side of Jamaica as well, this is the resort that will suit your preferences. 

Overall, I think Sandals Ochi offers fantastic value, especially for anyone on a budget. It is the least expensive option among Sandals resorts, and you still get all those amazing all-inclusive perks they are famous for. Plus, you have unlimited access to the neighboring Sandals Dunn’s River with free transfers to get there. Sounds like a win-win, right?

• Water sports enthusiasts will love it here! You can dive into activities like snorkeling, glass-bottom boat cruises, paddleboarding, and so much more – all included!
• If you love golf, the Upton Estate Golf Club is just 15 minutes away, and you get free access to an amazing 18-hole course that overlooks the sea.
• If you are planning a wedding, there are several gorgeous spots around the property for your ceremony. The overwater wedding chapel, with its stunning glass-bottom aisle, is simply breathtaking! The versatility of this resort is astonishing!
• You are in for a treat with spectacular live entertainment at the Ochi Beach Club. And do not miss the Rabbit Hole speakeasy – it is the perfect place for delicious classic cocktails!

• Sandals Ochi Beach is the biggest of the Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, boasting 519 rooms! That means you will experience a lively vibe, and it tends to be a bit more budget-friendly too.
• Some of the restaurants require a more formal and fancier dress code, meaning you might have to prepare your nice attire for the vacation. 
• The airport is just 15 minutes away, so you will not have to spend hours reaching your resort. 
• The transfers to the hotel are free of charge, meaning you will save some money on commuting. 

Sandals South Coast – Whitehouse, Jamaica 

You will find Sandals South Coast sitting pretty on a beautiful two-mile stretch of beach, and the architecture has a cool European vibe that just feels right by the coast. And, most of the rooms come with those amazing ocean views that you definitely want for your vacation.

In addition, if you are into those dreamy overwater bungalows, you are in luck! This resort has them, plus you will get pampered with butler service. This Sandals resort is all about experiencing what it means to be living the good life! It is also a super popular site for destination weddings. They have this stunning overwater chapel where you can tie the knot with breathtaking panoramic views and even a glass floor aisle. So, if you are planning a bridal celebration in an exotic destination, you may want to consider this unique gem!

One of my favorite things about Sandals South Coast is that it is situated within a massive nature preserve, which means you are surrounded by nothing but peace and tranquility – perfect for unwinding and taking a break from everything. And if you are feeling adventurous, you can take some fun excursions to nearby places like the breathtaking seven-tiered YS Falls, which are just a short trip away.

As one of the best Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, it really embraces the relaxing vibe, making it a great choice for intimate honeymoons or couples looking to relax. Of course, there is plenty to do, but it is more about enjoying each other’s company than hitting the party scene. So, if you are dreaming of a laid-back getaway, Sandals South Coast is definitely worth considering!

• There are four large pools by the beach that provide a great place to relax with stunning views, plus there are swim-up bars!
• There are nine specialty restaurants here featuring a variety of cuisines, including Caribbean jerk, fresh seafood, and Asian fusion.
• The newly opened over-the-water bar is a fantastic place to enjoy tropical cocktails, especially during sunset. 

Is This Resort Right for You?

• The airport is one hour away from the resort, but the drive to it is quite scenic. This means that you will not waste that time without enjoying the beauty of Jamaica. 
• The rainy season lasts from May to November, and the dry season goes from December to April. If you do not mind a bit of rain, you can snag some great deals during the rainy season. 
• There is a special dress code for some restaurants, so you should not forget to check it for your evening plans, since some of them might ask for slacks and collared shirts.

Sandals Negril – Negril, Jamaica 

 If you are looking for a fantastic getaway, Sandals Negril is definitely a place to consider! Located on Jamaica’s stunning Seven Mile Beach, this resort comes with the most beautiful white sand beach you will find on the island. If you want authentic features during your vacation, this is one of those dreamy spots! 

The prime location of the resort gives guests easy access to the crystal-clear waters and the magnificent shoreline, making it a perfect spot for beach lovers. If you need ideas for your honeymoon or a romantic getaway, Sandals Negril will meet all your requirements. 

What I absolutely adore about this Sandals Resort in Jamaica is that the pools and swim-up suites are just steps away from the beach. So, you can soak up the sun and dive into the sea whenever you want. Another thing I like about Sandals Negril is the different atmosphere in the restaurants along with the delicious meals. In short, every time you have a meal, you experience something unique!

For those who enjoy activities, Sandals Negril has some exciting motorized water sports options. Unlike some other Sandals resorts, you can actually try your hand at things like wakeboarding and skiing here. Plus, thanks to the resort’s location in a protected cove on the eastern tip of Jamaica, the waters are usually calm, making it ideal for both swimming and fun water sports. 

Overall, what really sets Sandals Negril apart is its chill atmosphere. It strikes a lovely balance between being casual yet chic, making it a perfect spot for romance and relaxation. Whether you are soaking up the sun or exploring water activities, this resort surely offers an unforgettable experience!

• For some pampering, the Red Lane Spa offers a fantastic range of treatments, and the couples massage on the beach is an absolute must!

• Sandals Negril is one of the more budget-friendly choices. It’s a great way to mix luxury with affordability for a fantastic stay. 
• This Sandals spot is pretty secluded. If you want privacy and isolation from the daily craziness of life, this is an ideal place. 

Sandals Royal Caribbean – Montego Bay, Jamaica

 When you are looking for a great place to stay in Jamaica, you need to check out Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay! There are 227 rooms available, so you will not have trouble finding a spot. It is just 5 miles from the airport, which makes getting there super easy.

This Sandals Resort in Jamaica has a relaxing vibe and offers eight different restaurants and seven pools for you to enjoy. What really sets this place apart is its unique mix of Jamaican charm and British style. After visiting all the Sandals resorts in Jamaica, I found this one to be the most luxurious.

One of the highlights is the private island with overwater bungalows inspired by Balinese designs. These bungalows are incredibly private, and many come with their own infinity pools, which were definitely my favorite.
