A comparable 7-night stay at Beaches Turks & Caicos in a family suite typically runs $8,500–$12,500 all-in including all meals, all drinks (beer, wine, spirits), all activities, and all tips. Beaches looks more expensive on paper but includes more once you’re there.

Where Disney Cruise pulls ahead on value: if you have very young kids (under 3), Disney Cruise is significantly cheaper because kids under 3 don’t count as a full cruise fare and Disney’s nursery is available. Food & Dining

Disney Cruise Line uses a rotational dining system where your family moves through three different main restaurants on your sailing, with the same servers following you each night. Room service is free (except gratuity). Specialty adults-only restaurants (Palo, Remy, Enchanté) cost extra. Soft drinks at meals are free, but sodas at other locations and all alcohol cost extra.

Beaches Resorts includes unlimited dining at up to 21 restaurants per resort (at Turks & Caicos), with zero additional charges for any restaurant or menu item. Beer, wine, champagne, premium spirits, specialty cocktails, sodas, juices, coffees — all unlimited, all day. Room service varies by resort.

Kids’ Clubs & Character Experiences

Disney Cruise Line has some of the best kids’ clubs at sea, divided into age-specific spaces (Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge tween lounge, Vibe teen club). Disney characters roam the ship throughout the day with scheduled character meet-and-greets, character breakfasts, and Disney-branded deck parties.

Beaches Resorts features Sesame Street character experiences — Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and the full cast — with character breakfasts, parades, tuck-in services, and photo opportunities every day. Kids’ camps run from 11:00 AM through late evening and include babysitting. Beaches also has Xbox Play Lounges for tweens and Liquid nightclub-style teen venues.

Activities Included

Disney Cruise Line includes pools, waterslides (AquaDunk, AquaMouse, AquaDuck depending on ship), Broadway-style musicals, movie theaters playing first-run Disney films, character meet-and-greets, trivia games, deck parties, and fireworks at sea on Caribbean itineraries.

Beaches Resorts includes a full waterpark with slides and lazy river, PADI scuba diving certification and dives at every reef (at no extra charge, for certified divers), snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, tennis, and nightly entertainment. Scuba diving alone can be worth $800–$1,500 per person for a week, which makes Beaches dramatically cheaper for dive-loving families.
