Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya, the boutique brand’s most ambitious all-inclusive resort, is now taking reservations for stays beginning Sept. 22, 2026. Set inside a nature park of freshwater rivers, mangroves and cenotes near Playa del Carmen, the family-friendly resort will feature seven restaurants, five bars and four outdoor pools.
According to Caribbean Journal (July 19, 2026), the resort’s booking calendar opened this month for arrivals from Sept. 22 onward, giving travelers their first chance to lock in a stay at one of the most anticipated new all-inclusives in the Mexican Caribbean. The property is still listed by Kimpton as “opening soon.”
What makes it different from the usual Riviera Maya beach-and-pool resort is where it sits: the surrounding Tres Ríos Nature Park is laced with jungle trails, mangroves, cenotes and freshwater rivers you can kayak and snorkel. At Tres Rios, the jungle and freshwater environment is meant to be part of the vacation itself — not just a backdrop.
